A bar in the woods, reimagined for feasting and gathering
If you go down to the woods today, you’ll find something quietly extraordinary – a repurposed vintage grain silo turned woodland bar and event space. The Silo is our newest addition, offering a more intimate space for seasonal gatherings, fire-cooked food, drinks and workshops.
It’s warm, atmospheric and open to the canopy above – a place to gather for cocktails under the stars or long table suppers as the sun filters through the leaves. Like everything at High Grange, it’s built around quality, care and a sense of occasion.

A new way to experience High Grange
The Silo expands what’s possible here. It’s a flexible space that gives us a new home for smaller feasts, creative sessions and corporate events with fire-side drinks in all seasons. You might join us for a winter supper with log burners and candles, or a summer gathering with cocktails and grilled firepit snacks under the trees.
We’ll be hosting a rolling calendar of events in the Silo – from food and drink evenings to wellbeing gatherings, tastings, and guest collaborations.

The Silo is an extension of the High Grange ethos: considered, low-key and welcoming. Everything here invites you to slow down, eat well, and enjoy the surroundings – whether you’re sipping something local at the bar or gathered with friends for a celebratory meal. It’s also available for private hire, either as part of a larger event or for a focused gathering.
