High grange Feasts
Award-winning fire dining in our magical Devon woodland
Feasting is at the heart of what we do at High Grange. From five-course tasting menus shared around our long oak table, relaxed fire suppers, to punchy cocktails under the canopy at our Silo bar – each event celebrates the very best of Devon’s local produce.
Our woodland kitchen is a place to gather, eat, drink and connect. The menus change with the seasons and the produce we have to hand. The fires are always lit. And the setting – under canvas, in the woods, overlooking the hills – does the rest.
“An exceptional meal, friendly hosting where fellow diners were soon involved in animated communal chatter.”
– Barry S, Tripadvisor

Feast Nights
Communal fine dining, cooked over fire
Feast Nights are our signature shared dining events. The evening begins with a cocktail at the woodland bar and a wander through the grounds. You’ll then sit at our oak table – outside or in the Shippen, depending on the weather – for a multi-course tasting menu cooked entirely over fire.
Each dish is introduced by Luke, using the finest ingredients from Lyme Bay, local farms, and our own gardens. You’ll leave full, merry, and likely having made a few new friends.
“We have been raving about you to locals and holiday makers alike, honestly you were brilliant. A really good experience.”

Fire Suppers
All the flavour, a little more laid-back
Fire Suppers are a more casual way to experience High Grange’s outdoor cooking. You’ll still get a cocktail on arrival, then sit for a generous three-course meal served at our communal table.
Menus are seasonal and simple – perhaps steak and chips, or a whole asado lamb with all the sides. It’s the same brilliant technique and great produce as our Feast Nights, just with a looser format and fewer courses.
“Time spent drinking cocktails in a vintage agricultural silo in the woods is never wasted…”

The Silo
Cocktails, events and feasting in a woodland bar like no other
Tucked beneath the trees, The Silo is our new converted vintage grain silo turned event space. With views up through the canopy and space to host everything from drinks to yoga classes, it adds a unique new dimension to the High Grange experience.
The Silo hosts its own series of special events throughout the year – fire feasts, workshops, seasonal gatherings – all with the same High Grange food, drink and atmosphere.

Seasonal & Special Events
Lorem Ipsum
A similar structure to our original Fire School day but using completely different ingredients, techniques, butchery and fire making skills.
The day will be a fun and an immersive experience with participants encouraged to get stuck in. There will be plenty to eat throughout the day and it will culminate in a feast sitting at our communal oak table.
Masters of Fire is best suited to those with some outdoor cooking experience who want a deeper dive into all things BBQ.
