Feast Nights
Seasonal fine dining in our woodland kitchen
Feast Nights at High Grange are evenings to remember – a communal dining experience in the heart of East Devon, where everything is cooked over fire and served at our long oak table beneath the trees.
You’ll begin with a complimentary cocktail at our woodland bar, then sit down for a multi-course tasting menu crafted from the best local and seasonal ingredients. Each dish is cooked in front of you over flame, explained by Luke, and served in a setting that’s as welcoming as it is beautiful.

What to expect
A warm welcome, wood smoke, and exceptional food
Your evening starts gently – drinks, time to explore the grounds, and the glow of the kitchen fires. Then we gather to dine, either outside under canvas or inside our cosy Shippen, depending on the weather.
You’ll be served at least five courses, each drawing from the East Devon larder – Lyme Bay fish, locally raised meat, garden vegetables and eggs from our own hens. It’s food with substance, theatre and heart.
“High Grange is so good that we want to visit in every season... a special experience!”
– Taste of the West Judge, Gold Award

Thoughtfully hosted
Everything designed to help you relax and enjoy the evening
Feast Nights are as much about the food as they are the people around the table, the conversations that unfold, and the joy of eating something made with care. The atmosphere is informal but generous, and you’re always welcome whether you’re coming alone, in a couple, or as a group.
“An exceptional meal, friendly hosting where fellow diners were soon involved in animated communal chatter.”
