The Silo Sessions

When did you last talk to someone properly- not about football or beer? When did you last feel safe enough to be vulnerable? When did you last do something for you and you alone? 

I’m Luke Vandore-Mackay, deep into Sniper’s Alley with my 50th birthday in 2 months. I run a live-fire cookery school and catering business. I have a wife and 3 children and I’m always busy and normally stressed. I am trauma-informed and therapy-literate and have spent 25 years teaching, communicating and cooking.. I have experienced and struggled with fertility issues, baby loss and trauma. I’ve had life-threatening bowel surgery. I run a hospitality business in a brutally hard economy and I have a family that demands more of me than I can sometimes give. I understand what your life feels like and I can help you.

The Silo Sessions are a space to feel something. With no pressure or expectation. You can sit quietly and listen or you can pour out your heart. It’s not woo woo, we won’t be burning sage (unless it’s wrapped around a veal saltimbocca) or drinking wheatgrass shots. Instead we’ll cook a meal - over fire of course and then eat it. You can drink water or whisky or anything in between. This isn’t a place of judgement. Then we’ll sit around a fire. In comfortable silence and in comfortable conversation, guided by me. Listening is the thing here; you will be heard.

£30 per person (including dinner)

Alcohol available to purchase on the night (optional)

This is a wellness and community event — not therapy or a clinical service

We're starting with a men's silo session, but watch this space as we expand! 

NB. I'm making one space completely free on every session. If you're having a tough time financially and genuinely can't afford this session then email me confidentially - luke@highgrangedevon.com - no one else on the session will know.
