Half Penny Farm Fire Supper

For one special supper, High Grange will be taken over by Chiara, Connor and Julian in collaboration with Half Penny Farm – Connor's family's off-grid farm just up the road from us. Built around four polytunnels, a thriving market garden, and a woodland for outdoor-reared pork and poultry, everything at Half Penny is shaped by farming at nature’s pace. Their mission is land-led, hyper-seasonal, and focused on producing an extraordinary variety of impeccable vegetables and meat. Together, they’ll bring their homegrown produce to High Grange and cook it across our array of fire cookery equipment, letting flame and smoke elevate ingredients that have been grown by them, from seed to harvest.
You’ll begin with a cocktail and time to wander into the woodland setting before sitting down at long tables for a generous, produce-led feast. Expect a grazing starter to share, followed by a main course and dessert made up of multiple dishes designed to be passed down the table - abundant, colourful plates that celebrate the height of the season's ingredients, nose to tail, root to shoot. Fire, flavour and really great farming are at the heart of this collaboration. Come hungry, come curious, and join us for this very special one-off evening.
