High Grange at Home: An Indonesian Feast

Collection only: £25 per person. 5pm till 7pm. 

This weeks takeaway is inspired by a photo shoot I did a few months ago for Kamado Joe - a slightly less ‘known’ cuisine in this country but completely delicious. You’ve all had satay though, right- satay is a purely Indonesian invention - specifically the street food traders of Java.

We’ll grill portobello mushrooms and add our homemade authentic satay sauce (not one for the nut allergists). Laksa is a ridiculously aromatic noodle soup - tons of lemon grass, coconut and a little chilli kick - ours is served with grilled, smoky chicken.

No Indonesian feast is complete without their most famous rice dish - Nasi Goreng - egg fried rice & prawns, seasoned with a sweet soy sauce and topped with a crispy fried egg, cucumber & spring onions. Don’t forget to add your bottle of HG hot sauce or bay and cobnut gelato for dessert….
